Cosmetic Gynecology

Cosmetic gynecology

Cosmetic gynecology is a new field of medicine which surgically rejuvenates the female external genitalia, resulting in a younger and more natural appearance. Women choose cosmetic gynecological procedures to reconstruct physical defects or complications from childbirth and to help improve self-confidence and acceptance.

“Childbearing trauma, aging, and inherited irregularities affect not only the aesthetic look of the external female organs, but also create feelings of being different or inadequate. It can have an effect on intimate relationships and women's emotions.” Dr. Adam Ostrzensgfzwski

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

What’s the difference between labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation?

Labiaplasty is a cosmetic gynecology procedure to enhance the appearance of the labia minor or majora. Vaginal rejuvenation involves plastic restoration of the vagina to improve its tone and/or tightness.

Will I feel any discomfort after vaginal surgery?

This depends on the type of surgery you’ve had. It’s good to know that we use cutting-edge medical technologies at our clinic in Dubai to manage your pain during and after surgery. You can expect little to no pain the first 18 to 24 hours, followed by some tenderness (which can be managed with over-the-counter analgesics and cold compresses) that can last for a few days.

I haven't had kids, but I want to tighten my vagina. Can I still opt for Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation in Dubai?

Yes. For women who haven’t given birth, the procedure focuses on vaginal diameter reduction and aesthetic adjustment. As the normal laser vaginal rejuvenation focuses on the vagina’s lower section and the perineum, the surgical procedure for women who haven’t given birth is generally less extensive.

Can more than one vaginal cosmetic surgery be performed at once?

Vaginal rejuvenation can be performed with labiaplasty or any of our other cosmetic gynecology procedures.

When can I return to work after aesthetic vaginal surgery?

It may depend on the physical demands of your job and should be discussed with your gynecologist in Dubai. Generally, most patients are able to return to their normal work schedule after a week.
